This month's "Booook Tasting" Cooking Class is based on the silly tale, A Bad Case of Stripes by David Shannon. Just like lima beans were a comfort food for the book's protagonist, Camilla, we're going to try our hand at baking a popular comfort food of our own.... pop tarts! While they're baking, we'll also be crafting our own mini fruit pizzas on crackers to practice our fruit slicing skills. *Anyone with food allergy concerns Must contact Mrs. Cara no later than Oct. 1st! *For Ages 5-12 *All children Must be accompanied by an adult throughout the activity! *No registration required; all seating & supplies are first come, first served!
